The Unhookening

A child holding a fishing pole with a fish still hooked on its end, waiting

The Unhookening is a series of events that supposedly unfolded throughout the childhood of QUEBEC.

No concrete proof confirming the validity of their claims has been made public as of now.

Summary

The events have been described in short paragraphs as follows:

“Ok so, when I was younger, we used to fish a lot, we lived close to a lake and we’d probably go fish at least one time each week”

“I LOVED and still love to fish, but I absolutely despised touching the fish I catched once I got it out of the water, obviously most of the time my parents came and unhooked my fish. But,” “Some times they didn’t”

“Maybe they were stuck helping my brother, maybe they were packing up, whatever the reason I was now stuck with a fish I didn’t want to touch, and I had to find a way to unhook it” “So I did”

“We fished on a big metal dock too, all rusted and burning from the sun”

“So I took my fishing rod, gave the line some slack, and absolutely slammed the fish at the end of my hook the hardest I could on the dock. Repeatedly.” “Most of the times they unhooked themselves after the first few slams, obviously with some brain dammage. But sometimes they didn’t, and I had to do it again, and again, and again, and again.”

“I didn’t want to hurt them, I’m not a violent person, they’re just fish anyway right?” “I still clearly remember the sound it made, and the smell of the blood freshly repainting the old flaking dock.”

Contradictions

Upon receiving immediate backlash from the members of the World server in response to his gratuitous cruelty, QUEBEC has promptly begun refuting his own claims.

It would although be worth mentioning that this wasn’t the first time this country’s representative has voiced their sadistic tendencies towards animals.
