Steamhappy
Steamhappy is a World Server emoticon and religious symbol. It has had extreme significance within anthropological and religious studies in the past five years, though it's importance and origin suggest it dates back even further.
Design
Steamhappy is a jolly yellow gem. It's primary colour (#f9c908) invokes a sense of joy and pride, balancing well with the additional warmer tone of it's tongue. The bright eyes, full of optimism and whimsy, add a divine flair when paired with the yellow of the body. The 45° angle of its outstretched arms not only add a sense of comradery but victory, celebration, and praise. The roundness of it's perfect body imply a sense of wholesomeness and perhaps even weakness, though this is just a ruse. The teeth of Steamhappy are jagged and misshapen, revealing a new side to this deity, showing that while it is kind and merciful, you should never cross nor belittle it.
Steamhappy draws many comparisons to the sun. While it's colour and shape are surface level comparisons, Steamhappy has many deeper ones, such as its pure radiance and almost supernatural pull. Additionally, it is through Steamhappy's warmth are we allowed to flourish as geniuses, and therefore it would not be a stretch to say that it is responsible for intelligent life. We revolve around Steamhappy to sing it's praise, just as our planets revolve around our sun. In essence, Steamhappy is life itself.
Origin
Even in the godless time of antiquity, Steamhappy's influence was felt even before it was seen. The earliest record of Steamhappy was in 2014 as an emoticon for Steam. However, prior to 2020, the emote could only be described as a crude effigy of its true form.
Sometime in June 2020, however, the Valve team had a Rapturous Vision and updated the emote to its current, complete form. This largely flew under the radar of the general populous until a small group of visionaries, now known as the Enlightened, discovered its true glory years later.
Ideology
The Steamhappy ideology is based in being the gemmiest human possible, even when surrounded by coal. There is a large emphasis on the support of the Remilia Corporation and the World World Order. These groups are not only gemmy, but are completely comprised of geniuses[1]. The ideology in full can be better understood by listening to the official theme song of Steamhappy, Glory to SteamHappy.
Like most religions, disobeying the teachings of Steamhappy and refusing to ascend will land all nonbelievers straight to nigger hell.
