Caligula (born August 2007) also known as Cali, Dixie or DIXIELAND, was a Nigerian-born world separatist who was the leader of The Coal Factory during The Coal Coup. He rose to power through various mind control techniques and his public speaking ability. He was the owner of a beautiful, luscious afro, until it was inevitably sacrificed.
Early life
Caligula was born in an undisclosed Nigerian village. He became proficient in document forgery by age 8, and was a renowned religious figure by age 12. His expertise gave him the opportunity to cross the United States border plenty of times, which introduced him to the infamous Mongolian basket weaving forum. This resulted in a cascade of events, during which he befriended the cocktator, and eventually ended up in the world.
He joined the world not long after its inception, making him "one of the OGs". He quickly established himself as a respected member through his quality posts and voice chat interactions.
Mass migrations
Caligula was the cause for two large migrations; the first one consisted of inviting everyone he knows to the world, and the second is known as The Great Migration, which happened during The Coal Coup.
Interestingly, the majority of individuals invited by Caligula have acted in very strange ways, often breaking many of the world commandments. This was noted by various world scholars[1], as they began to use the phrase "early life section checks out 😹" to describe this phenomenon.
Rise to power
Caligula was a man of many words, which made him a polarizing character. Many[who?] described their relationship with him as a "love/hate relationship". He often received backlash for coalposting and not aligning with the world commandments, which is believed to have led to his eventual radicalization. He claimed that the world needs more coal to maintain a balance, o algo.
coal is gem, gem is coal
— Caligula
Sometime during December 2024 he established The Coal Factory, which he then alluded to in #un-meeting:
— Caligula
This separatist group was discovered immediately upon its inception by WIA agents, which notified the WWO and continued to participate in various covert operations against the group.
Caligula was able to recruit around a dozen members for The Coal Factory; they consisted mostly of his friends or known troublemakers. Unfortunately for him, some of them were WIA agents, and some were unwilling participants which he brought into his project against their will, which they later disclosed during interrogation.
The method by which he planned to gain power was unclear to the WWO until February 26, 2025, at which point the coup commenced.
The Coal Coup
It is speculated that Caligula planned the coup to commence on February 23rd for personal reasons, but it was delayed due to WWO's and WIA's counter-terrorism measures.
Right before the coup happened, he assured POLAND (lifelover) and AGARTHA that it "would not be malicious" and "is a fun surprise".
The true goal of the coup and how he planned to retain power are unknown to this day. The whole movement was largely disorganized due to the way he led his followers.
Personal life
Caligula's personal life was turbulent. He once told a story from his youth about his time in Nigeria, during which he endured psychological and physical abuse from his peers and the local population.
One such incident was when rogue house staff made an attempt on his life by wrapping him in a blanket which was used to preserve the body of his dead relative; this was widely believed to be spiritual assassination. The goal and efficacy of this attempt remains unknown, but it left Caligula traumatized.
After the events of The Coal Coup, he remained an internet nomad, switching friend circles and communities often. The WIA remained an observer for a significant portion of this journey in order to discover and intercept any future attempts at external interference against the WWO and the world, but no such plots were discovered.
Death
Initial response
Caligula tragically passed away on October 11, 2025 from suicide.
On October 14, 2025, the world staff was first informed of the possibility that he might be dead. At first, they believed that this was just a hoax and another attempt at deception.
On October 16, 2025, following two days of extensive investigation, his death was officially confirmed. This was upsetting, but did not come off as much of a surprise, as he was known to exhibit self-destructive tendencies.
The public has expressed their shock and condolences once the situation was fully disclosed.
Impact
Following his death, three pardons were made:
This decision was generally well received, with few critics.
Some members commemorated Caligula's death through art or by simply saying "RIP Dixie".
