Controversy

21's mathematical stability was temporarily undermined by Habib's older brother. On June 22nd, 2013, he told Habib he "was stupid," and asked Habib what 9 + 10 equaled. Habib answered "21" which his brother assumed was incorrect. This caused a short-lived divide in the mathematics community about the true answer of 9 + 10. However, on July 13th, 2013, it was ultimately ruled that the correct answer was indeed 21. Following the controversy, Habib's brother would post a video claiming Habib had died, which was shortly disproven.
